A prototype, also known as a minimum viable product (MVP), is an initial, simplified version of your software. It contains only the most important functions to test your idea and collect feedback.

The traditional model
Traditionally, companies put together entire teams for software development, known as scrum teams.
These teams consist of various specialists:
- A person who knows the customer and the market inside out and develops requirements – often referred to as a product owner (this corresponds to your role when you develop the software idea).
- Developers who program the software and translate the requirements into technical solutions.
- As well as other experts who support the team with design, testing or technical architecture.
This close cooperation ensures that both customer needs and technical requirements are optimally implemented.
Current observation - ChatGPT
We are currently experiencing a groundbreaking change in software development:
Modern AI technologies such as ChatGPT are revolutionizing the way we work. Developers no longer write all the code themselves, but give the AI precise instructions. The AI takes over the creation and adaptation of the code – quickly, efficiently and often with surprising precision.
The future solution - MVP from the product owner
This is how ChatGPT supports software development: developers copy a component or function into ChatGPT, formulate the desired change in natural language and then integrate the adapted code back into the project. They then check whether the change works as desired.
The exciting aspect is that formulating the instructions in natural language is intuitive and easy for almost anyone to implement. The technical steps, such as inserting the changes and checking the functionality, only require a basic understanding of software development – significantly less know-how than was previously necessary.
The result: with a basic knowledge of software development, it is possible to go from the idea to the first functional version (a so-called prototype) independently.
The advantage: this approach saves time and costs, as development processes are accelerated and resources are used optimally. The combination of AI technology and clear instructions makes it possible to implement innovative software solutions with minimal effort.

Training day 2:
On the second day of the course, we apply the knowledge from the previous day in practice and create a fully functional application without programming a single line ourselves.

Implementation of a complete application with frontend and backend – from the idea to the finished prototype. - Concluding thought:
Discussion of how this approach can be integrated into the corporate context and reflection on strategic opportunities.
